“What is that strange sound you are making? Ukay-ukay?”
This is probably one of the comments you will receive if you say, “ukay-ukay” out loud.

I’m so excited to be jetting off to Cambodia today! It’s my first time, and one of those places that I have continually tried to plan a trip to but the plans just never worked out. So you can imagine my joy at finally being able to go!
I was reading online about how women should wear either skirts or pants that cover their legs while visiting the temples. This stressed me out a bit considering the heat (it is forecast to be 33°C + while I’m there!), so I started planning my travel wardrobe early. Natural, breathable materials are the way to go!

So, my little camera went to the doctors (aka Repair shop), as the screen and lens were playing up a bit. Therefore, unfortunately there will not be many photos to share with you guys for a little while – I won’t even have my camera for my trip to a new country next week 😦
In the meantime, I wanted to show you some of the greenery (and colour) that surrounded our little house in the Philippines. Safe to say that we lived in our own little paradise!
Beauty surrounds us, but usually we need to be walking in a garden to know it.
